AAMIR KHAN TO STAR IN FORREST GUMP ADAPTATION On his 54 birthday, Aamir Khan had a surprise gift for his fans. He announced his next project, the official adaptation of Tom Hanks’ Oscar-winning classic Forrest Gump (1994). Titled Lal Singh Chaddha, Aamir will co-produce the Hindi version with Viacom18 Motion Pictures. The script has been written by Atul Kulkarni. The film will be directed by Advait Chandan. For his titular role, Aamir will be losing 20 kilos as he’s required to look lean. He will be sporting a turban in part of the film. The actor was quoted saying, “It’s a life affirming story.
