letter from the editor

Prince of performance Rajkummar Rao is literally the man for all seasons. Cast him in any role and he makes it his own. I remember watching him In Love Sex Aur Dhokha (2010). He plays a man, who makes a sex tape for money. It was a bold choice for an actor to do such a role. The next he impressed in Shahid (2013). a boy’s life

He took baby steps as an actor, while studying engineering at IIT Kharagpur. He was part of the Hindi Dramatic Society, where he did plays by such stalwarts as Rabindranath Tagore, Vijay Tendulkar and Mahesh Dattani. It was during his time at the IIT that Jitendra Kumar met Biswapati Sarkar, who would later invite him to join the comedy sketch TVF (The Viral Fever).
