and the award goes to…

The Filmfare team, of course. It isn’t easy to bring out an award show year after year after year. But we have been doing it with pride, never bowing down to pressure, never backing out in the face of calamities... only forging ahead. IT’S NICE TO BE DOING ROLES THAT TAKE YOU THROUGH THE DIVERSE SPECTRUM” The talented Anshuman Jha made his debut with Dibakar Banerjee’s Love Sex Aur Dhoka (2010). He went on to do critically acclaimed films like Yeh Hai Bakrapur and Chauranga. An Economics graduate, his passion for cinema made him take this detour and there’s been no looking back for him. More recently, he took a pause from theatre - he was performing in two plays - Dirty Talk and The Boy Who Stopped Smiling – and took on four films, each distinctive in theme. Shashi Sudigala’s Mona Darling, Harish Vyas’ Angrezi Main Kehte Hain, Ashvin Kumar’s Noor and the Nandita Das’ production Pagla Ghoda…
