amazon introduces alexa for hospitality

AMAZON'S ALEXA FOR HOSPITALITY will help hotels, vacation rental and other hospitality players give a voice-first experience to guests. Amazon Echo smart speakers will be placed in hotel rooms and guests will be able to talk to Alexa for accessing hotel information, room service, housekeeping, controlling lights/thermostats, and playing music. Amazon will work with major property management, ticketing and guest engagement solutions to make Alexa integration simple for hotels. SMART SPEAKERS have been understanding commands and responding in real time. But till now, they could process only one command at a time and not make a conversation. As promised at Google I/O 2018 last month, the Home Speakers are now getting support for continued conversation. Jacklyn Konzelmann, Product Manager, Google Assistant, explained in a blog post, "We’re taking another step forward in making your interactions with the Google Assistant more natural with Continued Conversation, available starting today on Google Home, Google Home Mini and Google Home Max." amazon now rebranded to prime now

AMAZON INDIA has rebranded its grocery service Amazon Now to Prime Now, offering two-hour delivery to Prime members. Available to customers in Bengaluru, Mumbai, New Delhi and Hyderabad, the service is available any time between 6 am and midnight; consumers can order as late as 10 pm for midnight delivery. Same-day and next-day delivery will remain available for all Amazon users, in two-hour slots from 6 am to midnight. For this, Amazon India has 15 fulfilment centres equipped with temperature-controlled zones. Samsung has refreshed its QLED TV offering and expanded its UHD range. The Korean technology giant is not just focusing on the premium category but has also introduced a new Concert series, a 'Make for India' innovation.
