CHINA’S XIAOMI is expanding its footprint with the launch of sub-brand Poco. It marked the global debut by launching Poco F1 in India. Featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 4000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0, and dual camera setup at the rear, Poco F1 will be available in four variants with a starting price of ₹20,999. HMD GLOBAL, official licensee of Nokia smartphones and tablets, launched Nokia 6.1 Plus, a midsegment Android device priced at ₹15,999, in August-end. It also announced the launch of Nokia 5.1 Plus, which will be available in September. Nokia 6.1 has a 5.8-inch full display with 1080x2280 pixel resolution and 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 protection with 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, with 4GB of RAM. ULTIMATE EARS is expanding its product offering with the launch of WonderBoom Freestyle portable speaker. Priced at ₹6,995, the speaker comes with a two-year warranty. Wonderboom Freestyle is IPX7 certified. The company claims it is a waterproof speaker which can withstand up to one-meter water for up to 30 minutes.
