My wife and I enjoy House & Home but were stunned by two products with obscene price tags in the January issue (“Trends 2020”) — a $17,928 light fixture and a $50,799 stove. You can imagine our wonderment, coming from a rural community that relies on Walmart, Canadian Tire and The Brick for its interior decorating needs. Please keep in mind that not all of your readers live in Oakville, Ont., or Westmount, Que. Good interior decorating should be within reach of all communities — urban and rural, large and small, and rich and not so rich.
