Our cover image comes from photographer Andrey Lukovnikov with model Exaterina Lukovnikova called R136al, which if you were to look it up on Wikipedia, it would tell you it is one of the largest and most luminous stars known. We loved the use of light and shadow to give an otherworldly look to the images. Our back cover features an eye-catching image from Tim Bracey with model Ashley Jacobson. PICTORIAL Most of us don't think too much about the impact our clothes have on our planet. The focus lies too often purely on the price tag attached to the garment and that's why fast fashion labels like Shein are so popular. PICTORIAL I was very inspired by this image because it felt conceptual and at the same time, there was freedom in the rules of photography of that time. Living in St. Petersburg the former capital of the Russian Empire - we have access to many stunning architectural heritage sites. And, in particular, Alice lives in such an apartment - with huge ceilings and magnificent layouts. As a result, without thinking twice, we decided to try to recreate the same frame. The only thing we didn't take into account is that the apartment windows overlook what is known as the “courtyardwell”.
