I don’t think we take that moniker for granted—most of us are just so keenly aware of our liquid assets we don’t think much about it. But after living through a pandemic, we have all become more in touch with our surroundings—and are especially more appreciative of the freedom of the great outdoors. Those lakes—as well as the trails that surround many of them—have become escapes and stress relievers. And one giant lake in particular has become a beacon. Not only do we have our 10,000 lakes; we rub shoulders with the shoreline of one of the Greats—Lake Superior. And lest we forget, we also have the bounty of the waters…
