There are collaborations that feel as though they were cooked up by committee, and then there are those that land and immediately make sense. Citizen’s first Tsuyosa collaboration with seconde/seconde/is very much the latter. On paper, the pairing of a democratic Japanese sports watch and Romaric André’s mischievous, concept-driven design language might seem unlikely. In the metal, it is spot on. The Tsuyosa has already earned its place as one of Citizen’s strongest recent watches: accessible, mechanical, easy on the eye and completely wearable.
