BMW
R1200R Sport
The latest of BMW’s boxers to receive a revamp around the new liquid-cooled, 123bhp boxer engine. Out goes opinion-dividing Telelever front suspension, replaced by upside-down forks. The R also has electronics galore and fresh, more aggressive styling.
Three specs are available, starting with the base R1200R (£10,250) in blue with a black frame. This Sport (£11,060) has white paint, a red frame, two extra riding modes, quickshifter/ auto-blipper, daytime riding light, a stainless tank cover, fly screen and belly pan. The top-of-the-range Sport Exclusive (£11,910) is grey and comes with semi-active suspension, cruise control, a centrestand and more.
