ASTON MARTIN VALKYRIE For years, Aston Martin has been the favourite car manufacturer of a certain Mr Bond. With its latest launch, though, the British marque seems more to have set its sights on selling to Batman. A street-legal, hybrid-electric ‘hypercar’ designed in conjunction with Red Bull Racing legend Adrian Newey, the jaw-dropping Valkyrie boasts an otherworldly aesthetic that would likely appeal to the Caped Crusader – and it has the performance to match. The Cosworth-developed 6.5-litre V12 engine delivers an awesome 1,000bhp and, while the exact speed figures had yet to be released at the time of writing, it’s reckoned that the electric motor could help jettison the car to a 0-60 time of around 2.5 seconds. The Valkyrie is light as a feather too – its ergonomic, carbon-fibre build…

Pop goes the camera! If the recent spate of launches is anything to go by, pop-up cameras will be the norm this year. While a camera’s reliability is a real worry for customers, companies like OnePlus are trying to quell this by showing how strong the sensor is, and even implementing fail-safe mechanisms like retracting the camera if you drop the phone. This is nifty and only time will tell if a pop-up camera is the right design decision. But for now, yay to large screens! Our June issue brings you the best new and upcoming tech ranging from entertainment to fitness to even coffee. Vinyl has made a comeback, but how about using them with a wireless turntable? Read more about our head-to-head on pg 63. There were a lot of new products…

They run on the current flagship SoC from Qualcomm, namely the Snapdragon 855 and are one of the first smartphones with UFS 3.0 storage. THE JACKET This quilted bomber is the standout piece in Dev’s outfit and catches the eye with its texture and tonal colouring. Grab a similar jacket with the Barbour Astern Quilted Jacket (barbour.com). THE ROLLNECK Add some comfort to your outfit with a cosy polo neck in grey to offset the jacket. Try it with the Canali Mélange Merino Wool Rollneck Sweater (mrporter.com). THE BOOTS A slick pair of military-style boots perfectly finishes this ensemble. Perhaps match in black for a stronger look. Selected Homme has a fine pair just like it with the Lace-Up Ankle Boots (zalando.com).…

how to dress smart-casual

The phrase ‘smart-casual’ gets thrown around well too often when we talk about style. While we dress this way often in our daily lives, when do we think about what smart-casual actually is? With many interpretations out there on how smart – or how casual – smart-casual should be, T3 spoke with London-based personal stylist Nicole Page (nicolepagestylist.com) to find out what the tricks are. While smart-casual can be intentionally ambiguous, straddling the line between somewhat sharp and certainly informal is a balancing act. “Always match your belt to your shoes, don’t worry too much about tonal differences, just make sure that both are matching for a more cohesive look,” Page says. “With regards to a shirt, always keep these plain and in neutral colours; should you want print then…
