showstopper

SWITCHCRAFT The Hypersport may have been built for safety, but it’s no stick in the mud. A feature called Switch enables you, at the push of a button, to instantly tuck in the bike’s windscreen, handlebars, seat, and so on, for more streamlined ergonomics DAMON HYPERSPORT A motorbike stuffed with anti-crash technology was always going to rev our engines, which is why we’re keen as mustard for the Hypersport. Made by Canadian firm Damon, the Hypersport is a prototype electric motorbike; a 4G-connected machine with a main objective of keeping you safer on the road. The Hypersport’s clever CoPilot function uses sensors and cameras to intuitively monitor your surroundings, whether you’re riding through an urban landscape or somewhere a little more rugged. While doing so, the CoPilot tech calculates the speed and distance…

t3’s mission

Our mission is to bring you the clearest recommendations we can – and that means a great deal of hard work happens before a product even reaches our pages! Because we only feature products the T3 team would happily use ourselves, we end up discarding a significant number of options in each category before settling on a final shortlist to review. We select only the best of the best for our Tested section; the gear we know you’ll want to seriously consider purchasing. And that should mean an end to you having to undertake hours of painstaking research and product comparisons. You won’t see any duff products, but you will come away with clarity on which one is the best in its category or for a specific task: our awards badges (see…

horizon

1 TESLA CYBERTRUCK • £tbc, tesla.com Whether it’s making all-electric supercars or launching rockets into space, Tesla certainly knows how to grab our attention. Well, Elon Musk and co didn’t so much grab our attention with its new concept vehicle, the Cybertruck, as lift us up by the lapels and throw us squarely into the future. Looking like something imagined by a 1980s filmmaker (and no doubt some will hate its entire design aesthetic), this mean-looking four-wheeler is described by Tesla as having “better utility than a truck, with more performance than a sports car”. That’s quite some combination, and the spec sheet certainly seems to back up that lofty claim… The Cybertruck boasts the same protective stainless-steel skin as Tesla’s Starship space raider, as well as ultra-tough glass, up to 16 inches of…
