Faithful to the COLLEZIONI philosophy that always puts carefully selected innovative new designers at the forefront, this issue of Collezioni Accessori launches an Open Call dedicated to young emerging designers at their first steps in the world of accessories. The Open Call expires on the 3rd of October 2018 and aims to promote the most deserving works on the pages of the next issue of Collezioni Accessori, publication date early November 2018. All details on how to enter can be found on page 33 and on the dedicated Open Call page on the website. This is the mission that Collezioni Accessori wants to undertake in its next issue, the first one dedicated to the Spring/Summer 2019 season. BALDININI To celebrate its 30th anniversary Baldinini decided to reissue one of the cult pieces of the 1980’s from its archives: the cowboy boots. The characteristic elements that made them famous, i.e. the vaguely eighteenth-century style, the Tex-Mex style with studs and the elegant flamenco-inspired floral patterns, all come back to life in a more contemporary and fashion key. The shape of the new cowboy boots is more streamlined, however still very strong thanks to the lateral edge cuts. The colourful optical geometric design decorates the entire boot.
