In the undiluted warmth from the sun, appetites turn to lighter food, and seasonal produce bursts with vitality. A FAMILY FEAST I come from Calabria, where we made everything ourselves, from olive oil to salumi. When we killed a pig, we wouldn’t eat it that same day – we’d butcher the best rabbit or chicken we had and Mamma would make a beautiful ragù and fresh pasta for a big feast.
