what inspires you?

When it comes to cooking, for most people I talk to that lightbulb moment has its roots in childhood. But inspiration is ongoing, too, through other great cooks we might be lucky enough to know. This month we’ve asked three top food writers to talk about who, in turn, inspired them, with recipes to augment the story (p32). It’s a feature so vivid it makes me want to escape to a beachside cottage and write a book. There are recipes in this issue inspired by people I know, too.
