Earlier this year, there was a lot of talk about ‘the new normal’. At that stage, it looked like that might involve slightly inconvenient things like not being able to trawl through flower markets on Saturday mornings, or enjoy a live set with a great glass of wine at your favourite local, but as this year has worn on, it’s clear there’s nothing normal about what’s actually happening.
