Lazy parties are the best parties
Really, it’s the only kind of entertaining I go for because I am easily distracted when I have a house full of fun people, and have been known to leave them stranded for hours without lunch. I’ve accepted that I’d rather be deep in the party than finishing tricky dishes in the kitchen by myself between courses. I like simple shared food, not too many brimming plates on the table and not too many dishes to wash – and rest assured you’ll be helping yourself to drinks from ice buckets placed in strategic positions around my house.
