Everything is opening up and starting again, summer’s coming and across the country we are stirring. It’s a kickstart and everyone is feeling it, which is why colour has been such a big topic for us at Inside Out recently. In this month’s planning meetings, we were desperate for joy and colour, and I know we’ve found it in these pages. Highlights include inspiring projects from people who’ve put the fun back into decorating homes, such as US-based Cortney and Robert Novogratz, who we admire for their family-friendly colour work; Tamsin Johnson, whose stellar rise in the design world has been fun to watch; and three talented Australian designers with wildly different colour palettes – creative powerhouses Yasmine Saleh Ghoniem, Julia Green and Claire Delmar.
