TRAVEL SNAPSHOT Lumley Castle, built more than 600 years ago in 1388, by Sir Ralph Lumley, has had an intriguing history. The Lumley family lost the castle after he and his son Thomas were arrested for a conspiracy to overthrow Henry IV.
