ALLAN WOLMAN | Tel Aviv, Israel Agnès Callamard, Amnesty International’s secretary-general, who authored that infamous report labelling Israel an apartheid state, responded to the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 25. Nothing, no further comment for the past five days, regardless of violations of international humanitarian law which could constitute war crimes.
While Europe is teetering on a possible world and nuclear war, Amnesty International published a multi-page report on Israel yet, can only issue a few bland criticisms against Russia, and have yet to criticise or condemn Putin.
