Meet Our Women Changing the World A few months ago my friend’s 7-year-old daughter was watching TV and turned to her mom and said, “I wish I was a boy. They are just so much better.” She’d been tuning in to a lot of superhero cartoons and felt that being a boy was a lot more exciting. The episode reminded me why it’s so important that People tell the stories of strong women. This, our annual Women Changing the World issue, is full of those stories.
