Like an older VFR - growly, smooth, a little bit ponderous, a little bit old-fashioned. Sounds like me, apart from the smooth bit… If you like your bikes to feel like bikes, and not mobile arcade games, then the GT’s simplicity and lack of electronic interference is a breath of fresh air. The engine is the best bit – bags of low-down grunt, but with plenty of snarling top end if you need it for overtakes or hedonism. The riding position feels natural if you’re used to sportier bikes, but some find it a bit too canted forward.
