ways with washi tape

Washi tape is a high-quality masking tape made from natural fibres such as bamboo, hemp, rice, wheat or from the bark of native Japanese trees. But more than that, washi tape is a material which is beautiful yet useful at the same time. You can tear it, stick it, reposition it and write on it. The low-tack adhesive makes it extremely easy to use and re-use. I think it’s so popular because of its versatility – and it looks great too! Our little ray of sunshine BY LINDA EGGLETON, NSW Materials: Cardstock – Bazzill; Stamps – Prima Marketing Inc, BasicGrey, StazOn ink; Embellishments – Pink Paislee and D-lish Scraps washi tape, Prima Marketing Inc letters and washi tape, Kaisercraft flowers and die-cuts, BasicGrey letters, 2Crafty chipboard, Studio Calico wood veneers, Manor House Creations…

Press it down firmly once it is in the correct position. 3 Turn it over, and press the second washi strip to the opposite side so that both sticky sides are adhered to each other, taking care to line the edges up evenly. 4 Cut the top and bottom of your strip to shape so that it resembles the shape of a feather. Now cut…
