Welcome to another Masters’ edition and what an issue it is! Choosing just six Masters this year felt like the greatest challenge of all when there’s such a pool of talented scrappers. I am so excited for our Masters, and I look forward to the amazing work they will no doubt produce this coming year. The challenges this year were designed to test the scrappers’ ingenuity. How inventive could they be? How could they challenge their personal style to meet the criteria? 2015 masters tasks

This year each task focuses on a different set of skills. To be a Master, we need to see that you excel in a variety of techniques and formats, including working with products and styles that are outside your usual range. We want to see how creative you can be with items that aren’t usually in the scrap room and how it can be incorporated into your style of scrapbooking. The layout can…

Every element in this layout reflects my little boy - words on the pattern paper, the sentiments on the background stamps and the title. To break the monotony of the triangle shaped paper pieces, I’ve included Kaisercraft circle stamps and also grid chipboard in several places. I enjoyed searching through my stash and colour matching across manufactures to choose embellishments for this layout.” Family BY SUE PLUMB, QLD Materials: Paper –…
