Let’s face it – as scrapbookers, the first thing that attracts us to this craft is usually the paper, right?! So, let’s talk about paper – in all it’s gorgeous, versatile glory and the ways you can include plenty of paper products on your pages. It’s no secret that I love to use colour on my pages, and the easiest (and cleanest) way to inject some colour into your creations is by using patterned paper. After choosing a photo and deciding on a colour palette, the next step is to delve into that stash and find some papers to suit. a brief introduction to digital scrapbooking

While traditional scrapbooking isn’t going away anytime soon, digital scrapbooking offers its own unique perks and has been rising in popularity since around 2010. Digital scrapbooking is, essentially, the art of creating page layouts on the computer using digital or scanned photos and computer software programs. The digital scrapbooker purchases digital scrapbooking kits, which contain graphics and word-art. The kits are often themed or colour-coordinated, and can be used over and over again to create new scrapbooking layouts after they have been downloaded to the computer. The kits are often used in conjunction with the scrapbooker’s own photos, keepsakes and other elements which have been scanned onto the computer.
