“I am an obsessive designer in that I think about it 90% of the time,” says illustrator Su Owen. “I discovered my love of detailed drawing when I was about 14. After school, I went to art college in Bolton, which was something I absolutely loved. I felt the people there were just like me: wacky dressers who liked drawing and making stuff.” Su had her first child, then studied Surface Pattern at Staffordshire University.
