In 2002, Chris Hedges completed a double major in philosophy and sociology at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Not long after beginning a career as a sociology professor at the university, he discovered woodworking and enrolled in the University of Rio Grande’s woodworking program. In 2007, his fourth piece of furniture won all three major awards at the AWFS Fresh Wood Student Woodworking Competition. Today Chris runs AedanWorks from his home in Athens.
