rolling out the red carpet

(Photography Tom Miles)This issue of GM is about as close as I think we'll ever get to a 'celebrity' special.First up, we have an exclusive interview with legendary putter designer, Scotty Cameron. It's no exaggeration to say that Cameron enjoys a cult status and GM was privileged to spend a day with him last year. No other golf magazine has ever had the sort of access we were afforded and our time with Cameron – at his studio, custom shop and gallery – was just mindblowing. Our feature seeks to give an insight into the world of Scotty. storm force

It’s been a whirlwind few months for Graeme StormWhat a wonderfully inspiring performance by Graeme Storm to win the South African Open in a play-off against the world's second best golfer, Rory McIlroy. He lost his European Tour card in November 2016 by the narrowest of margins, just €100! However, he then managed to hold on to it after Patrick Reed failed to play the required number of tournaments.Storm should be an inspiration to golfers of all skill levels. Never stop trying and keep to your gameplan, whatever the challenge... and he was certainly challenged on the final day, playing in the final group with Rory. Graeme stuck to his game despite the pressures of the play-off. Lesser golfers would have crumbled, but his mental and physical strength prevailed. Hopefully his…
