michael.harris@timeinc.comWELCOME TO YOUR NEW-LOOK GOLF MONTHLY ! This issue sees the debut of a fresh design that showcases lots of new sections and features. Our mission with the revamped GM is to offer you even more entertainment and value for money, with many of the changes we've made coming as a direct result of the feedback you have given us over the past year. The new elements are too many to list individually, but my personal favourites include a refreshed front section – The Game – that gives you a taster of everything we do, columns by Paul Lawrie and Oli Wilson and more tips from our Top 25 Coaches. Most working golfers I know play at the weekend and count down the days, if not the hours, from Monday morning to the roll-up or competition on a Saturday or Sunday. One weekend I opted for a rest from golf to enjoy some family time. We went to the local leisure centre, and guess what? It was busy! Our family workout took twice as long as we had to queue for the fitness machines, while the pool too was busy, preventing us from doing our usual…
