Letter from the Editor
Dear reader, What does comfort mean to you? For me, there is nothing better than curling up in bed on the weekend with coffee, a good book, and a simple knitting project to work on as I read. Preferably, I’ll crack the spine of a paperback to lay flat, but my Kindle is the easiest to read while knitting—it’s just more efficient. Reading and knitting in tandem is a skill I’ve developed over the years—first as a student and later as a young professional. Knitting has always helped quiet the little voice inside me saying, “be productive,” even when I’m in need of rest. Somehow, reading or knitting alone doesn’t silence that annoying voice, but since I’ve married the two activities I’ve found comfort for myself in my relaxation time. The need…
