A bout four years ago, in the cold of December, I was boarding a plane destined for the UK. I’d applied for university to study computer science, and part of the interview involved an expectation you’d have some kind of project to talk about. So, I spent the preceding weeks attempting to devise a project that I hoped would impress the interviewers. I’d always been very fascinated with maths and, at the time, fractals more than anything had caught my attention. Fractals are geometric shapes that we can generate with mathematics.
