The most useful features in Maps, and those that are used most often, are travel directions, whether you’re going on foot, driving, or taking public transport. So, for the next couple of pages, we’ll focus on those.
It’s worth noting that not all features are available everywhere, though. And some are restricted to major cities, so do bear that in mind. Where all features are supported, the driving directions enable you to see filter lanes, cycle, bus and taxi lanes, central reservations, and crossings.
And public transport features include highlighting key bus routes, notifying you when you are approaching your stop, and the option to ‘pin’ your favourite train lines so they appear first in the list of direction options when you are near them.
