A fat quarter is one of the most basic of the fabric precuts and possibly the most popular. Fabric companies put together bundles of fat quarters for their different fabric collections, making it easy to have every fabric in the collection. And quilt stores often have tables that feature a wide variety of fat quarters. Who can resist picking up one or more when walking by these displays? I know I can't! I have more fat quarters than any other fabric cut in my stash. I love working with them, and I know many of our readers do as well.
