A YouTuber has used 1,200 coloured pencils to build a working electric guitar in the style of a Fender Stratocaster. Burls Art claimed he was “more than satisfied with how it turned out” and posted a video showing the process onto YouTube that has received over 16 million views. The fully functional instrument cost a mere $120 as the artist owned some existing parts which otherwise would have cost an additional $150. Spending two to four hours a day working on the project, Burls Art created the guitar by cutting the pencils in half to create a flat, colourful edge and placing them into a box. world’s oldest woman

A 116-year-old Japanese woman has officially been recognised as the oldest living person in the world by the Guinness World Records. Kane Tanaka lives in Fukuoka, a southwest city in Japan, and was born on January 2, 1903. Recently honoured by Guinness World Records, Tanaka’s family, along with the city mayor, attended the celebration. The previous world record holder was another Japanese woman, named Chiyo Miyako, who passed away at the age of 117. Tanaka revealed that she enjoys playing board games and studying mathematics. The oldest person in the world ever documented was Jeanne Louise Calment, a French woman who, according to Guinness World Records, lived until the impressive age of 122.…
