1. MARTHA STEWART CRAFTS CHALKBOARD PAINT Just two or three coats (with drying time in between) creates a chalkboard surface on your project. Condition the painted area by rubbing the side of a piece of chalk over it and erasing it before using it as a chalkboard. 2. NICOLE DAKSIEWICZ @modernhandcraft Nicole Daksiewicz wasn’t always a quilter. But with a few basic sewing skills and a little one on the way, she faced the happy challenge of outfitting the baby’s nursery exactly the way she wanted.
