… to the August issue of Crazy! Our whole team love exciting and original projects, so we’ve filled this mag with all the best new ideas we could find! For instance, Fiona Baker herself came up with the concept for the fantasy dragon that she designed on page 28. It’s made up of swirling backstitch lines that are meant to look like quilled paper! Here’s another novel idea – stitchy hoop art that also functions as a pocket! That’s the thought behind our camping-themed hoops on page 56. And another – four of the world’s cities lit up against a dark sky, as seen in Cheryl McKinnon’s chic night-time cityscapes on page 42. And then there’s my favourite, Emma Congdon’s pretty mermaid alphabet on page 49, which turns the letters themselves…
