We are in the last month of spring and hasn’t it been grand! Somehow the bursting forth of flowers and warmer weather have added a little hope and joy to my life. In this issue we want to add to the joy by sharing some fabulous quilt projects, introducing you to a clever designer, sharing a tutorial, quilt galleries and more. new zealand hoffman challenge 2019–2020

The aim of the New Zealand Hoffman Challenge is to challenge New Zealand fibre artists to feature a specified Hoffman fabric in a quilt that has irregular edges. From the quilts submitted, 20 are chosen to be included in a travelling trunk show that will appear at various quilt shows, events and quilt shops around the North and South Islands for a period of one year.
