make every day a wave riding day

“WHEN THE WAVES ARE GOOD, GO REGULAR, WHEN THEY ARE FLAT OR NOT GREAT, THE FOILING MAKES THOSE WAVES FEEL PERFECT!”Sky Solbach Every day’s a wave riding day with the new Sky SUP. Allround performance features will have you up on the foil and charging waves in a few strokes. Its small wave performance is untouchable and when the swell gets pumping it truly comes to life. Transform your Stubby into a foil board and add another dimension to your days on the waves, while the strap inserts mean you can hoist sail and transform it into a windsurf-foil. The Sky Surf brings foiling to the wave face in its purest form. No wind days just got special. WWW.FANATIC.COM/SUP ADAM QUINN AGENCY, ADAM_QUINN@ME.COM…

10th element sup longboard contest

The Second 10th Element SUP Longboard contest was held at 3rd Ave, Burleigh Beach, in perfect Gold Coast winter conditions. Cloudless skies, crisp light westerlies and perfect 1-2ft waves, with the odd 3ft bomb thrown in for good measure. This year we had two interstate competitors, the evergreen Ray Gleave from just south of the Border, Kingscliff and Andrew Cassidy from Sydney who was holidaying on the coast and wanted in, plus the regular SUSinc crew with a few extras from the SUPSA club. This made for great competition and plenty of laughs on the beach. Brian Jones, SQ Judge, again assisted us in the score keeping and offering his advice on the judging criteria, as well as seasoned competitor Ray Gleave assisting when he wasn’t in the water. The two-tier men’s…
