If you’re wondering why the great Port Charles earthquake of 2018 didn’t get much of a mention here, it’s because in the end, it didn’t do that much damage! Nobody died, and, although we heard about the wreckage in its wake, there wasn’t much evidence of it to be seen on screen after a couple of days. Keeping Pace Like most daytime newcomers, Josh Swickard (Chase) was floored by the pace of GENERAL HOSPITAL’s production. “Some of the veterans will block a scene and then get it in one take,” he marvels. “They’re overlapping and arguing and perfectly lining up, while doing the blocking they just learned — and they blow it out of the water! When the show decided to turn Forrester over to interns, why didn’t they simply bring back Coco and R.J. instead of introducing newbies to whom we had no connection?…

Since GENERAL HOSPITAL’s D.A. Dawson came to town with a Sonny-sized chip on her shoulder, she’s rubbed a lot of locals the wrong way. But portrayer Elizabeth Hendrickson is crazy about Margaux. “I love her so much,” she grins. “I know she’s been hard as nails and a bit persistent, but she kind of has to be. Donna’s back on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, and her portrayer, Jennifer Gareis, couldn’t be more thrilled about seeing her alter ego mix it up with the likes of Pam, Quinn and exhusband Eric, for whom the blonde bombshell still has feelings! “I don’t think Donna is a homewrecker, but she doesn’t believe that Quinn is appropriate for Eric,” Gareis maintains. “Donna saw her dark side a long time ago, and even though Eric may be oblivious to it, Donna thinks that side of Quinn is still there.” If so, things could end up getting pretty intense for the middle Logan sister, though Gareis predicts there will still be a lot worth chuckling over.
