The gorgeous Audi A7, which debuted in 2012, has been a solid hit. It has sold well, especially in the United States, and has burnished Audi’s reputation as a trendsetter. But fashion is ephemeral, and the A7’s main rivals—the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe, Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class, and Porsche Panamera—will turn over in just a few years’ time.
Audi has no plans to give up its ground, though. The second-generation A7, set to debut for 2017, will have an even more distinctive look, exquisite craftsmanship, and a more impressive list of standard equipment.
