At the mere suggestion of summer, possibilities seem endless. There appears to be a litany of days that run into one another, stretching sunshine long into twilight. Periwinkle evenings are met by petal-pink dawns, and the parade of summer clouds appears with invisible music you don’t hear but can feel. These are my favorite days, not because they are surrounded with external warmth but because they are ruled with an effervescent inward light, fueling me to believe in more.
