BEEF PRICES MIXED
International: New Zealand steers traded flat at NZ$520/head and cows traded 0,52% higher at NZ$388/head. US prices were mostly down: topside was 1,13% lower at US$205,16/cwt, rump was 5,06% lower at US$307,30/cwt, strip loin was 1,56% lower at US$606,58/cwt, chuck traded 1,09% higher at US$212,16/cwt, and brisket traded 2,76% higher at US$235,71/cwt. New Zealand beef supplies are set to decline in line with seasonal trends, which will support prices.
Domestic: Class A was 0,52% lower at R38,34/kg and Class C was 1,80% higher at R28,90/kg. The weaner price was 0,20% lower at R19,84/kg. The hide price was 2,81% higher at R15,01/kg.
