Rugby teams from eight South African agricultural colleges took part in the annual Pannar Rugby Week held at the Potchefstroom College of Agriculture in North West recently. Teams from Cedara, the Cape Institute of Agricultural Training, Fort Cox, Grootfontein, Elsenburg, Glen, Taung and Potchefstroom competed for the IPJ du Plessis trophy. The team from Elsenburg emerged as the winner, with the Glen team as runner-up.
A national SA agricultural colleges team was chosen at the conclusion of the tournament.
