BULLSEYE! News of Faith’s terminal cancer has hit us hard. Chas and Cain’s madcap mum is such a reliable source of warmth and humour for Emmerdale that we presumed she was back for good. But such is the cruel reality of this awful disease, and if there is anyone who will do the plot justice, it’s the astronomical Sally Dexter. A little light will go out in the Dales when she departs. Thanks Corrie for highlighting the very important issue of surgeons who compete against the clock during liver transplant surgery. You wouldn’t have got that on Holby City.
