To get in shape for the action flick Peppermint, Jen, 46, turned to holistic nutritionist and wellness expert Kelly LeVeque, who encourages clients to combine protein, fat, fiber and greens. The combo, says Kelly, can “turn off hunger hormones, squelch inflammation and provide the body with the perfect, complete meal of essential nutrients.” Jen starts the day with a Kelly-approved smoothie with protein powder, flax and chia seeds, almond butter, unsweetened almond milk, spinach and blueberries. “I’ve had it every day for breakfast,” says the actress, who grows most of her own food on her LA farm.
