POOP IS BROWN (MOST OF THE TIME)
When you mix a bunch of paint colours together, the result is usually a brownish gloopy mess. The same goes for the food in your tummy after it mixes up in your gut and comes out as poop. But sometimes other colours will come through. For example, after blue whales feast on a ton of shrimp, their waste comes out pink!

When an animal goes number two, poo-loving dung beetles fly right into action. Once they arrive on their prized poop, they roll it into a ball, dive into it, lay eggs, and then bury it. This helps put nutrients back into the soil, which is good for plants!
