“We wanted a laid-back wedding, filled with the people we love. We held our day at an old paint factory in Bristol with a cool, urban feel. I wanted to add lots of natural elements to soften up the building.
As a wedding florist, I wanted flowers to provide most of the decoration. We chose pale pink, peach, warm pink, coral and yellow – lovely, summery colours! My bouquet contained my favourite peonies and roses, alongside some beautiful sweet peas, zinnias, dahlias and cosmos that my mum had grown.
It was so lovely knowing I could do the flowers exactly as I wanted. Making my bouquet at 6am on the morning, and ribboning the buttonholes while I was getting my hair done, was not planned though!”
