My boss bought me a soup maker for my 40th birthday, which I was fairly despondent about as I was hoping for Champagne! However, it’s turned out to be the most used gadget in my kitchen; I’d be lost without it. Sally I tend to use my kettle and air fryer the most. Meet the maker Adaku Parker, founder of Dovetailed fashion and sewing shop, has turned her passion for African wax prints into stylish children’s sewing projects. Sitting in the salon chair, the stylist took a big snip and a 12-inch section of my hair came away. It was a shock to watch, but as they carried on working, I felt more and more thrilled.
