After traveling for over 20 hours to get to the Wakeboard World Series stop in Portugal last year, our crew was delirious. To add insult to injury, the airline lost my luggage, so I was stuck with what I was wearing. I was traveling with Brian Grubb, Jeff McKee and Shawn Perry, and our spirits were lifted when we arrived at the site and found a bar on the water hosting a little get-together. We didn’t even check in to our rooms; we just sat down and decided to enjoy ourselves. BODY-WEIGHT EXERCISES Have trouble getting to the gym? Memberships and equipment too expensive? Not to worry. Some of the best and most ef f icient exercises to stay strong and lean can be done with just the use of your own body . Below are some of my favorite for a full-body workout.. 1 . S q u a t s . I love my A24, and I’ve worked hard to get it — 14 years, to be exact. In my opinion, there is not another boat on the market I would want. It has plenty of space, looks phenomenal, and has more than enough accessories and a wake that can compete with any other. 2017 SLING SHOT SOLO 146 As soon as I pulled the Solo out of the box, I realized that Slingshot and Dylan Miller had come up with a board that is definitely unique. The board I tried was a size bigger than the LF Deluxe I normally ride, but it was narrow in comparison, with the inserts placed farther toward the center of the board than what I am used to, allowing for a seriously narrow stance (the Dylan Miller signature). I also have to say that I really liked the narwhal graphic! On the water, the board was very comfortable to ride. The narrow width made it feel like the larger size was the right-size board, just with extra tip and tail. It has a moderately soft flex throughout…

PARKS:STILL AT IT If your reaction upon seeing Parks in this North Shore barrel was at all similar to ours, then you’re likely still picking up your jaw. Don’t worry, we aren’t judging you. When this image first came across our screens, we freaked out. For one, anything in a barrel just looks cool. And two, Parks Bonifay is 35 years old and is one of the best wakeboarders in history, so he has nothing left to prove, but he’s still proving it. This is a true story that we’ve unfortunately heard far too many times, and it’s surely any wakeboarder’s worst nightmare.
