Unfortunately, most exhibition labels on the quilts are provided only in Japanese characters (kanji) and not in either of the two phonetic alphabets or in English, so we have not always been able to credit individual quiltmakers or include the name of the quilt. We are a group of ladies specially trained in the area of Foundation Piecing, the Judy Niemeyer method. These patterns are sometimes very involved and we have been trained to help customers and students get the most from their experience when using these beautiful patterns. We are available to travel and help shop owners with the organisation for their classes and aid in selecting fabrics.
